চার বছর ধরেই টানা বাড়ছিল রেমিট্যান্স বা প্রবাসী আয়।Remittance or expatriate income had been mushrooming for four consecutive years.
গত বছর আসে রেকর্ড আয়। A record income came last year.
অন্য দিকে গত নভেম্বর থেকে প্রতি মাসে গড়ে লাখের বেশি কর্মী গেছেন বিভিন্ন দেশে। On the other hand, more than one lakh workers on an average every month went to different countries since last November.
দেশের ইতিহাসে এটি সর্বোচ্চ। This is the highest in the history of the country.
তাই এ বছরও প্রবাসী আয় বৃদ্ধির প্রত্যাশা ছিল।So, the remittances were expected to increase this year as well.
কিন্তু রেকর্ড কর্মী প্রবাসে গেলেও দেশের প্রবাসী আয় কমেছে। But, even if a record number of workers went abroad, the country's expatriate incomes got lessened.
দেশ এক বছরে সর্বোচ্চ বৈদেশিক কর্মসংস্থান হয়েছিল ২০১৭ সালে। the highest foreign employments for the country in a year took place in 2017.
ওই একবারই ১০ লাখের বেশি কর্মী গিয়েছিলেন বিভিন্ন দেশে। more than 1 million workers went to different countries one time alone.
এ বছরের প্রথম ছয় মাসে কর্মী গেছেন প্রায় ৬ লাখ।Around 6 lakh workers went abroad In the first six months of this year
এ ধারায় চলতে থাকলে এটি বছর শেষে ১২ লাখ ছাড়িয়ে যাওয়ার কথা। If this flow continues, it will exceed 12 lakhs by the end of the year.
এর অধিকাংশই যাচ্ছেন মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের কয়েকটি দেশে। Most of them are going to several Middle East countries.

বাংলাদেশের রফতানি আয় ৫০ বিলিয়ন ডলারের মাইলফলক অর্জন করেছে।The export earnings of Bangladesh have reached/achieved a milestone of 50 billion dollars.
চলতি অর্থবছরের ১১ মাসে (জুলাই-মে) ৪৭ বিলিয়ন ডলারের পণ্য রফতানি হয়েছে। $ 40 billion worth of merchandises has been exported In the 11 months (July-May)of the current financial year.
অবশিষ্ট ২৫ দিনে শুধু পোশাক রফতানি থেকে ৩ দশমিক ২ বিলিয়ন ডলার আসায় অর্থবছর শেষ হওয়ার আগেই মাইলফলক অর্জন করেছে বাংলাদেশ।As a result of earning 3.2 billion dollars from garment exports alone in the remaining 25 days, Bangladesh has acquired the milestone before the end of the fiscal year.
